| Mothers and daughters spend a weekend getting creative together! Explore color on metal by fusing powdered glass to copper in this introductory workshop. Marvel at the magic that results when you combine your creativity with powdered glass, metal and heat. Experiment with a variety of enameling techniques and take home pendants, art or hoe décor items. Explore traditional techniques, as well as newer experimental techniques – including basse taille (enamel over texture), sgraffito (scratching through enamel to create patterns) stencils and more. Get great results, even if it is your first time. This is the perfect workshop for beginners. Materials: Basic copper shapes included. Larger copper shapes will be available for purchase from the instructor. Requirements: No experience necessary. Participants must be 12 years old. A materials list will be provided upon registration for workshop. |
