| This class will be a step-by-step process of taking a story, tale or poem and turning it into a layout for a book. From choosing the size, characters, style, medium, etc., the class will be led through the process of making the drawings, editing and laying out the text and also some simple binding for presentation purposes. We will also complete several in-class exercises to help the students become more competent and comfortable with this art form. This class is ideal for those who are looking to learn the craft of book illustration and for those who already have some experience. |
