Silvermine guild art center galleries are recognized as one of New England’s most respected showcases for established and emerging artists. A complex of five galleries, the Silvermine Galleries boast an ambitious exhibition schedule, presenting over 20 shows each year. Frequently changing exhibitions include one-person and group shows by Guild Artists. The annual Art of the Northeast, a highly regarded exhibition begun in 1949, features the work of artists from nine northeastern states. National juried exhibitions of prints, photographs, and crafts are held triennially. Rounding out the gallery schedule are special exhibitions by prominent artists such as Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Paul Cadmus, Picasso, Pollock, Rembrandt and Ryman.
