This course is designed for students with no previous experience or those intermediate level students who want to expand their skills. Techniques covered include how to: saw, drill, file, texture, form, polish, rivet, solder and bezel set. . Create key chains, pendants, earrings and rings out of sheet metal and wire. For those students with prior experience, the instructor can assist on specific independent projects of their choice. The metal provided by the school includes copper, brass and nickel. Students are welcome to bring in and work with sterling silver. The Instructor will not sell sterling silver. Suggestions on where to purchase sterling silver and other optional supplies will be discussed in class. Safety glasses and a sharpie marker are required. No experience is necessary.
