I resist explaining the subject matter of my paintings (as such they are not titled.) I would rather the viewer form their own perspectives as to what is happening. Also not be influenced by what they think my specific message is.
I would like them to see the paintings as they would a fleeting moment in life. One that is unexplained and maybe unexplainable.
I enjoy the questions created by a divergent collection of images. Each with it's own individual and subjective symbolism and how it inspires the viewer's thought process.
The paintings are generally satiric in nature. They deal with subjects of class, environment, relationships, sexuality, and other cultural and sociological ideas. it is above all the surrealistic and enigmatic nature of the works that bring me the most joy and motivate me to create them.
