Blue Plate Specials, Roxy's Cell Tower/#23, 2010, 22" x 30", Paper Lithograph Monoprint
Driving on I 95 does have its benefits. Bird(ish) is an exhibition of prints based on highway vistas, bird imagery and daydreams culled from daily drives on I 95 and rural roads. The artist's ongoing fascination and attraction to birds and utility wires has escalated and taken on a life of its own. This show is a unique documentation of images shot, drawn, copied, stretched, pressed and printed, depicting the coexistence of nature and industry in the modern landscape.
