Silvermine Galleries is pleased to present this solo exhibition of artist Narelle Sissons, winner of the Board Chair Grand Prize from the 74th A-ONE Exhibition.
Narelle’s work explores personal experience, memory, and formal structure. Working primarily in drawing and painting, with occasional studies in clay, she focuses on shape, color, spatial relationships, and the expressive qualities of surface. Her figurative paintings sit between care and concealment, tenderness and humor. Balancing improvisation with observation, she builds compositions that reflect lived experience and broader cultural themes.
