Michael Keropian has been an artist all his life, and a professional sculptor for over 45 years. He has a total understanding of all areas of sculpture including, technical processes and use of materials such as marble, wood, plaster and metal. His work is in both private collections and in public spaces. He has taught in a number of fine art schools in the New York and Connecticut area and is a sculpture conservationist.

Detroit Tigers, Comerica Park/ 1999- 2000. Created (9) heroic-sized tigers for the Baseball Stadium. Each fiberglass tiger averages 33 feet long and 12 foot tall and sit or stand on the stadium. Average weight of a tiger is 5000 lbs. These are the largest tiger sculptures in the Western Hemisphere.

President of Rochester Institute of Technology, Dr. Albert Simone/ 2008. Over life-size bronze figure located at Park Point on RIT Campus.
Luigi Del Bianco Mount Rushmore Bronze Plaque/ 2014 & 2017, in Port Chester, NY and a bronze plaque installed at MT. Rushmore Museum, South Dakota.
General Thomas Francis Meagher Bronze Bust, 2017, Over-life size portrait bust and monument to Civil War Brig. General, Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn New York.
Kay Kobata Memorial Bronze Plaque, 2018, Over-life relief, Big Bend College, Moses Lake, WA.
Putnam County NY Veteran Service Awards, 2019, Putnam County, NY. Over (400) bronze struck medals with ribbons.
Joe McCluskey Olympic Runner, 2019, 7′ scale bronze figure, Manchester, CT.
Awards
Mr. Keropian has received numerous awards in the past decades. Hudson Valley Art Association Gold Medal, Pietro Mqntana Memorial Award, Jurors Choice Award from the Academic Artist’s Association, Armenian Artist’s Annual and many more.
