NEW CANAAN, CT, March 9, 2023—Silvermine Arts Center is pleased to present the 2023 installment of the annual Instructor Salon. This year’s group exhibition showcases the work being created by current Instructors and reflects the broad range of styles, mediums and conceptual approaches being taught at the Silvermine School of Art.

“Our esteemed and dedicated instructors are the foundation of the Silvermine School of Art. Since the first class taught in 1924, education has been an important part of our mission. Today’s instructors include artists who are represented in the permanent collections of museums, corporations and other private collections”, said Barbara Linarducci, CEO of Silvermine.

Featured artists include Keiko Ashida, Martha Bloom, Souby Boski, Gail Bradshaw, Megan Collins, Bruce Dunbar, Zach Dunn, Frances Eber, Dean Fisher, Christy Gallagher, C.J. Guerin, Heidi Harrington, Maureen Henriques, Nash Hyon, Maj Kalfus, Natasha Karpinskaia, Wendy MacCordy, Alex McFarlane, Nancy McTague-Stock, Lenny Moskowitz, Jill Nichols, Justin Perlman, Jon Puzzuoli, Aleksandr Razin, Josephine S. Robinson, Matthew Shelley, Karen Siegel, Nomi Silverman, Justin Wiest, and Dmitri Wright.

This year’s exhibition shows a wide range of innovative approaches to painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media, and printmaking. The exhibition is a visual feast—and for those interested in classes and workshops, an excellent introduction to the School and its more than 1,100 courses and workshops. The show runs through March 23, 2023.
