No pre-registration required, walk-ins are welcome!

Payment must be made at time of session by cash (exact change only) or by check made out to Silvermine School of Art. Credit card payments are not accepted.

Open Sketch Schedule and Details

Open Sketch is open to the public, ages 16 and up, and provides an opportunity to work from a live model in a studio environment using the artist’s preferred medium. Each session accommodates up to 12 participants. Models of varying body types and genders pose nude, with the exception of portrait sessions on the first Friday of each month.

Open Paint Schedule and Details

Open Paint is open to the public. This is an opportunity for artists and students to work independently on paintings or other 2-d artworks in a shared studio space. This is non-instructional and allows participants to bring their own materials and work at their own pace.

Join us for this day of non-stop drawing, open to the public. 

This is an opportunity for continuous, intensive figure drawing with a model(s) in sustained poses and still life set-ups. This is open to adults 16+ and will take place in the school building as well as various locations outside on our campus. All skill levels are welcome.
