Join us for a short-form presentation by four Asian American ceramic artists from around the country. Each artist will give a 15 minute talk about how their work speaks to the Asian diaspora as well as the evolving language in ceramic art.
This event is free to the public and will be held at Silvermine Arts Center, Main School Building- Studio 3,  1037 Silvermine Road, New Canaan, CT

 

Adam Chau

 Adam is an artist and curator living in CT. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute’s Industrial Design program, his research blends digital manufacturing with traditional studio ceramics.

Kiki Lee

Kiki is a Chinese multidisciplinary artist working with ceramics, fiber, design, nd photography, currently based in Los Angeles, California.

Micah Lewis-Van Sweezie

Micah is a sculptor and ceramic mold maker from Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Michael Takahata

Michael creates narrative driven ceramics and low relief wood carvings, currently based in Oklahoma.
